Modutek International LLC (MTEK) is headquartered in Soperton, Georgia in a 140,000 square foot manufacturing facility that is both rail served and close to Port of Savannah. The facility is a heavy lift facility with numerous overhead cranes with capacities in excess of 150 tons.
In addition to the Soperton based headquarters, MTEK has a sales and marketing office located in Savannah, Georgia.
MTEK manufactures a line of enclosures to house generator sets and electrical equipment. MTEK’s enclosures provide protection for the housed equipment inside, while providing protection to the environment on the outside.
Our Story
Carl Trent, President/CEO of MTEK, has designed/developed Mission Critical Power Systems for 35+ years. Mr Trent founded Professional Power Products, Inc. (PPPI) in 1986 and has been intimately involved in designing commercialized medium and high-speed power plants for his entire career. PPPI was then sold to a public company in the spring of 2014.
Post PPPI, the EKI Solutions Group (EKISG) was formed, which provided consulting and design services to the data center industry. EKISG includes key management and engineering talent from the previously sold company. The EKISG consulting business blossomed into manufacturing and equipment supply. Modutek International LLC (MTEK) was then formed to blend our engineering and manufacturing expertise to provide equipment to both the data center and generator industries.
